So as we are setting up to film in front of Armando's house, it starts to rain. And it wasn't just drizzling. It was actually raining quite a bit. We put a bag over the camera and I had to stand and hold an umbrella over Tomas. In a way, the rain did help our actors look sweaty while they were fighting so that's one good thing that came out of it. I could also use cool rain sound effects and make it sound like it's thundering in the background and that will make the film opening a lot better. Adding these sound effects will make the viewer feel they are actually there.
We were also able to use fake blood for for injuries because as time went by the rain stopped so the blood wouldn't just smear off anymore.
We didn't finish filming till around 11 pm. It was a super fun time despite all the troubles we went through. I'm really excited to start editing it.
